Free dvds in this week's/weekend's papers

I assume the CD is based on the kid's history books by Terry Deary.

'Cruel Kings & Mean Queens'
'The Slimy Stuarts'
'Awesome Egyptians'
'Barmy British Empire'
'Rotten Romans'
'Vicious Vikings'

Mine loved them. They tell you all the horrible bits.

Anyone interested on 10 Dec, News of the world will have a covermount cd covering Big Country scottish band from the 80's, tracks are unkown at this time

Saw this browsing in W H Smith this morning!

Starting monday, The Sun is giving away a free 18 certificate movie each day next week: collect from in-store or collect the vouchers and they'll post the set to you.

Didn't see which stores you can collect them from, and can't remember the full list, but it includes

The Bitch
The Crying Game
Gangster No.1

Can anyone fill in the gaps?

Daily Mail have been giving out free DVD's since Saturday and running till Friday. BBC Earth documentaries narrated by David Attenborough. Redeemable in WH and Tesco or save vouchers for set to be sent out.

A tip is here is to keep an eye on the Mail's web site. Usually they put the postal details etc on it several days before it appears in the paper itself. If you have collected the tokens from day one and have the bonus ones etc you can get your order in earlier.

Free DVD with Daily Mail on Saturday 18th September. Cliff Richard and The Shadows in Summer Holiday. More Cliff Richard films during the week. Guessing these will be vouchers at Tesco/WHS again but not sure yet.

Thanks but it appears that I've missed all the best ones and with only 4 tokens to my name will have to sulk :( Still, there's always another promotion around the next corner. I think this set has been the best value so far though.

My first port of call is usually sky news' 'The Papers' link at the foot of their front page. It varies as to how many papers submit scans of their early editions but often you will find all the major players proudly boasting their latest freebie, and in a little corner somewhere even some News once in a while, which is rather quaint.
