Free dvds in this week's/weekend's papers

The Mail have added another 7 Classic War Movies to the current collection:
Carve her name with pride
Malta Story
We dive at dawn
49th Parallel
The Lion has wings
Appointment in London
The Way Ahead

Saw an advert on TV for The Guardian last night (THU)...they are giving a DVD free this weekend but I couldn't make out what DVD it was/is.

Also...Daily Mail (Sat) giving a Meryl Streep true life drama DVD 'First Do No Harm'......then as usual collect for the next 2 weeks (prob' WHSmiths collect)....our local Smiths is closing in March...moving to one of those out of town Shopping Parks...be harder for me to pick up the DVD's from then  ;)

If the DVD is missing or faulty then most newspapers invite you to contact them. Having never done this because I always check that the DVD is there, I'm just wondering if anyone has actually contacted a newspaper because of a missing/faulty DVD?

I wonder if anyone can clarify the Mail Great War DVRAB for me? According to the Mail they are giving away DVRAB each day (excluding Sundays I think) up to and including 3 November in order to issue the complete 26 episode series.

But so far each DVD has contained two episodes and today we are up to episode 14. That leaves 6 more days at the present rate, i.e. ending on Saturday 27 October. Where does the extra 6 days collecting come from?

'Martha Meet Frank, Daniel, etc' is a pretty enjoyable Brit rom-com.

The cartoon is Raymond Briggs 'The Bear'...not as famous as The Snowman, but, if I remember correctly, it has some spectacular animation.
