Free dvds in this week's/weekend's papers

It doesn't say, though maybe it's just a "taster" to persuade you to buy the complete set - possibly on offer from the paper at a special price? Or an introduction to the series for people (like me) who've never seen it.

Very good thread idea, well done. It can be ongoing and updated every week. I think these free dvd's are brilliant. With regard to The Guardian, I have got coupons to get me this for only 60p, even more reason to say yipee!!

The Daily Mail starts a 7 part 'Romance Collection' of DVD's in time for Valentine's Day from 13th Feb.
Love Story, An Officer and a Gentleman (in Mail on Sunday on 14th Feb), Shirley Valentine, Terms of Endearment, Barefoot in the Park, Frankie and Johnny and Sliding Doors.

Nope still waiting. Mirror and Mail were always very slow and The Sun very quick. Recently Mail has become quicker but the Mirror hasn't done anything recently.

Still waiting for this collection to arrive.

I saw this advertised in yesterday's (Saturday's) Express, although I can't find details on the paper's website.

You're right, it's a collection of Sherlock Holmes (made for tv) movies starring Ian RicharRABon.

Saturday's freebie was 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' (1983) and the next one (today?) is-I think-'The Sign of Four' (also 1983).

The rest of the collection is taken from the BBC series 'Murder Rooms' (2001).

Collect daily from WH Smith, or token collect.

Maybe the shopkeeper is lazy and hasn't taken down the notice from his shop front? I'm sure it said April but on the other hand l could be wrong?
