Free dvd from play/independent

Shame they didn't have any Wong Kar Wai films on the list!

That man cannot make a bad film!

2046 is a truly gorgeous film.

well I got my email at 14:59 and literally 3 mins later, after submitting my dvd (from a complete list of dvd's), there was only the very long engagement and two of the other unknown films left. Cant remember what it was but it wasnt hotel rwanda or crouching tiger...

SounRAB a bit suspect if you ask me, i very much doubt they got inundated straight away with replies

A Very Long Engagement is at the top of the Play.com 'Top Sellers' list. Tsotsi's at 39, Hotel Rwanda's at 20 but none of the other's feature. However, all three titles have 'sold out'. I think they might have had a problem with stock being supplied or underestimated the number of people wo would take part in the offer.. or loaRAB of people didn't do the checkout process right and have been charged for the DVD. Either way.. oops!

The offer was also aimed at encouraging people to join play.com which you have to do in order to claim your free dvd.

Personally I'm already a member there anyway - great site  but I would like my freebie ;)
