FREE Activities for Children in Contra Costa County?

Hello All,

I have a challenging question:

I would like to take children on trips that are fun, exciting and
adventurous but also free? Is there such a thing that exists besides
the book store or the Library? Hiking is another fun idea but I will
have a stroller and hiking with a stroller would be disastrous.

We are interested in the Brentwood/Antioch or Oakley area, however we are open to other areas such as Discovery Bay, Tracy, etc.

Any ideas?
