I can remember seeing the original too. Must have been about 8/9. I'm sure it was on as the "short" before the main feature, wish I could remember what was on with it.

I rember seeing the original when I was about 10. I think they skirted around the "what if" issue of Dad coming home and fancying a shag

Freaky Friday has already been remade twice. Once by it's original title in 1995 starring Shelley Long and the same idea was used in Vice Versa in 1988 with Judge Reinhold and that kid from the wonder years.

I can't imagine it's going to get any better on the fourth attempt.

I have to say that I really enjoyed the version of this film that I saw (I dont know which one it was, but it was old). I like the concept, but havent seen the new one yet, and Jamie Lee Curtis annoys me
