Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out

I think I may be one the few people around that really dislikes Frans Ferdinand! I find there songs intensely annoying, plus there played constantly on every music channel/radio station here in the UK. I really don't see what all the hype is about, they can write catchy tunes but thats about it

The hype is because they have the 'now' sound, you know, that nu-rock shit that everyone seems to eat up without thinking lately. Obviously some major picked them up and decided to push them like crazy. That band is nothing more than a marketing machine.

Yeah the Boy Band scene ended a while back.......... these bitches like Spears, Simpson, etc. need to end their careers and let some real music to take over.

I was sceptical when I heard and saw them advertised EVERYWHERE as everyones new favorite band or some stupid shit like that BEFORE they actually released anything over here. I heard them a few months later and they were exactly what I expected.

Agreed, the ability to write catchy pop tunes != talent. There nothing special at all, they've just got a big label behind them pushing them into everyones faces.

Their not the best, but its a unique song, and made it to my playlist, at least for a while. I'll agree, the odRAB are they won't be around in a year!

I liked it the first 3 times I heard the song. It's catchy, no denying that. But then I started to disect the song.... theres no substance to it, its like 3 parts. Now its just annoying.

Ugh, I can't stand that song. Also the new one called "Martinee" or something is really annoying

I can't understand what people like about them

I like the album, I was in a club in Vegas and the DJ was spinning this song over 2Pac, it was weird at first but sweet as hell once I figured out what it was

the band isnt that bad....the songs not that bad. im just getting sick of hearing it every 20 mins on the radio. they are different though and have a good style. they dont sound like every band out there

They are basically the same thing as the Strokes and the Killers and all those other trendy NYC falsh-in-the-pan The-BanRAB that play the rawk (except from the UK this time). The album isn't all bad, but the songs that are good get old pretty quickly.
