Framing Comic Books As Wall Art? Good Idea?

I have a bunch of Comic Books that I LLOOVVEE. Johnny The Homicidal Maniac, Lenore; The Happy Little Dead Girl, and a large assortment of collectables.

I am going to be moving soon and I’m trying to think of things to hang up that are a bit more sleek than the Anime Wall Scrolls I have up now.

I have 2 copies of all my ‘fave’ comic books, the ‘readers’ and the ‘collectors’, So I was thinking of turning my collection in to a series of wall art in the “Grouping” style that I have been seeing lately.

What do you think?
Oh, and I know how to make my own matting... So I would either find a frame that would fit them and not use matting or I will have to make my own, custom shaped mats. No worries, I'm an art student.

Does Anyone Know Where To Find Frames That Will Fit Them?

They are 10 1/8 inches X 6 5/8ths inches.

A good comic reader understands that you can never allow yourself to be confined to what you will ever read-in those pages! Comics are strong suggestions for you to go forward. They are fantacies,and nothing more. They do have a place,but not one to dwell on long. Thats the pace of a well written fantasy, one that has your best interest ,at heart! We are individuals with intrensic needs! A solid religious , moral center ,will allways guide you best to what you agree as best! This all is based on the fact that we are all born with right love!
 
great idea putting them under glass may increase their value. Legal size-to fit documents or larger. You'll probably need a fabric backdrop because there's no frames. Check the garage sales and also ebay. You know, you can get a poster frame from Walgreen's, put like 5-6 in there-they will probably fit. It will look nice-now do you want fashion fabric from the characters in your comics to match?
