Fox Talkback - The Simpsons " Little Orphan Millie " ( 11/11/07)

Not a bad episode, but those voices in the opening.. What the hell? Where did they come from, and why did somebody decide that adding Bart's laughter, Maude Flanders (wtf?!) saying "oh my" and Chief Wiggum saying "hey" to the opening would improve it, after, what, 18 years? They really detract from it.

The entire crumping scene was pretty painful, too.

I have to say, it was clever that they showed right from the beginning that Milhouse's parents were still alive. It made for less suspense, but it allowed the rest of the story to be funnier.

I agree that the voices in the intro are really stupid and unnecessary. I guess they wanted to spice it up, but... try again.

Not yet.

Yeah, I was glad to see Ralph used properly instead of just saying a one-liner.

I thought the plot was pretty good. I don't really care about Kirk and Luanne being together or not, but this was an entertaining story that came from the Van Houten family. I can't remember too many of the jokes I liked, but still, an enjoyable episode for me.

So we know Lisa has blue eyes and Marge has hazel eyes...what about Homer, Bart, and Maggie?

Agreed. I probably wouldn't have laughed at Nelson's "glub glub" joke otherwise.

It was a good episode. I haven't seen all of the episodes this season, but it's my favorite episode so far. I was kind of laughing at how stupid it was, though - Bart and Marge krumping?! I mean, c'mon! XD

I also didn't like Uncle Norbert or whatever his name was, and how it ended. It just went from, "Milhouse, I love you!" "Let's go find my parents! *crashes as parents are about to leave* Hey Mom and Dad!" The end.

Sorry that this was not a very insightful review; I'm watching The Breakfast Club and can't focus >

Also, if it's ain't broken, don't fix it ;)

despite the addition of the voices in the intro, it's a good episode and it's a intriguing coincidence then it aired just before KOTH episode showing Cotton's death.
