FOX may have said it's the 97th episode, but it's 100 episodes!

Synopsis:

Peter convinces Brian to move in with Jillian. Stewie moves in with them as well to help pay the rent, but he tries to interfere with Brian and Jillian's relationship by throwing Brian a drinking party. Meanwhile, Meg and Chris get jobs at the local convenience store. While Chris and the manager, Carl, talk about their favorite movies, Meg is stuck with all the hard work. She eventually stands up for herself and as a result, gets fired.

So, Brian moves in with Jillian, huh?

Discuss.

Yikes. A bit glad that was pulled off on American airwaves, not because of the context... but just because it doesn't sound very funny. Was Marge for it or something? Eh.. I dunno, it doesn't really fit the scene.

I have seen it described as such on three message boards (Something Awful, Television Without Pity, IMDb) and Wikipedia (to be fair, I helped flesh out some of the sentencing). I think that's considerable evidence.

Ha I guess it was how I phrased it in the previous post, that's what I meant to say, I need to see a clip on Youtube or something.

Indeed....if they really want Stewie Kills Lois to be counted as the true hundredth, they should air it now, but it isn't sweeps yet....

For those looking for respite, none shall come...Herbert's in this one too. The clips on IGN revealed him.

Oh God the coversations between Chris and the Clerk guy annoyed me to no end, it wasn't even funny at all and it was just useless filler that the writers came up with to put 22 minutes in. The only parts I liked in this episode was Stewie telling Herbert off, finally someone did it, and Brian hitting stewie in the face before the commercial. The rest of the episode was just bland.

thanks John, i was going to do the talkback, but i recall you said that you were going to do this week's talkback on last week's talkback thread, so i will give the honor of this week's 'Guy talkback to you.

see yas after the show...

Well, I find this weird...

Last week a LOT of us were nearly freaking out over Coach McGuirk's cameo, and THIS week only CaptainPunjab reconized McGuirk's voice actor Jon Benjamin? I'm rather surprised in 4 pages only two people mentioned that...

So it's not a random praise, like it seemed in Blue Harvest. It took me a minute to place the voice, but I did it.

And for the record, I did NOT hate Stewie giving Brian a beat-down. That was hardcore.

McGuirk!

Anyway

>solid first act so far,
>didn't get the joke about the brother an sister that Meg set up.
>Peter and Jillian make a better comedy duo than Brian and Jillian, go fig
>Stewie should have shot Herbert the way he shot the vaudeville guys..

The biggest problem I see in this episode is that Clerk McGuirk and Chris' discussions lasted too long without any joke. Really, what was interesting about two guys talking about nothing?

Mediocre episode after the starwars episode. I figured people were just getting abrupt cuts from their affiliates. but I got them over here on Fox 11 as well.

At least we won't be seeing Jillian anymore.

Haha - this is exactly what I was thinking.

I actually liked this episode a lot. It wasn't a random mix-mash of jokes; it told a cohesive story and played jokes off the things that were happening (or at least did such more then the normal 'new' Family Guy episode does). Kinda like the earlier episodes were. It may not have been hilarious, but for the first time in a long time I did enjoy it and by the time it ended I didn't feel dumber then when it started.

It doesn't make any sense that Peter and Lois would allow Stewie to move in with Brian and his girlfriend, but then Family Guy hasn't been about logical plots in some time.

Wow, was that a chore to watch. Granted not the worst I've seen since there were a few funny bits, but it really didn't go anywhere and those drawn out conversations with the clerk was very uninteresting. I've never been a fan or Brian's relationship with Jillian and I'm glad that it was put to an end.

"I'm just gonna talk for twenty-two minutes, then send the tape to the animatic people and cash my check."

Brilliant plan....wish I could get away with it.
