FOX Talkback - Family Guy - "Believe It Or Not, Joe's Walking On Air" (Spoilers)

So they're randomly back at the Clam now. The Men's Club plotline fell out.

Heh, that was good.

And a nod to Spidey's previous appearance.

I don't either. I think they just need somebody to hate since the Vaudeville Guys are gone.

I loved his appearance here.

The whole episode was pretty great until the end. Joe getting shot multiple times was just... It felt like I was watching an Adult Swim show on Fox. Which is kind of accurate but it just felt weird.

I also hated the Colin Farrell joke. Just wasn't funny.

It's true that you probably won't get banned for it, but it's still very annoying. If you're trying to be funny or something, please stop.

Anyway, on topic... I missed this episode, but I would've liked to have seen it. It sounds way better than last week's episode.

This episode was kind of mediocre it wasn't as great as I thought it would be, though watching them try to cripple Joe again was actually pretty funny. And then seeing Bonnie shoot him. "OW MY PERFECT ASS!!!!!" And I liked the sendoff to the Hitler joke. other than that, meh.

XD Good episode, i like the Jack Black scene,Spider man cameo,Hitler on a unicycle jugging fish XD,Joe farting on Peter,Joe with different legs, and the Doctor with Carter

First act was good

Quite a bit of unnecessary stuff, such as Fred and Barney. I liked the self parodizing from Cleaveland though. Stewie ripping on that guy was also funny, I wish he'd turn that laser on Herbert though.

Act two continues the pace
Cleveland gets his one spiderman save, the first actually funny musical number. Dr. Hartman and Carter sharing the same voice.

Buzz Killington again? I thought they never recalled cut-aways. Pretty cool fight scene with Joe, and peter beat up hitler. All in all a pretty good episode.

Well at least this episode was better than last weeks cause last weeks was a real lamer.

  • Spider-Man coming back was great!
  • Buzz Killington back again and I LOL when I knew Peter was gonna react to Buzz Killington like he did last time.
  • ANd boy, did Joe beat the snot out of Peter and the gang.:D

I must live in bizzaro world cause I loved last week and hated this week. All the self-referential crap didn't fly with me. Yeah Seth, we get the idea, you re-use voices and you use a lot of cutaways. Everyone was already aware of that, in fact other shows have already made much funnier jokes about the fact that your show uses cutaways.

This one was GREAT. Virtually every one of the jokes was spot-on.

And btw- please don't hate Herbert, he's one of my favorite characters; I just think they know how to use him properly. It's not whether or not he's in an episode, but IS HE PROPERLY USED? This week yes, yes, and definitely yes :)

This week on Family Guy, the writers start to burn some bridges. Everything was called out this episode, no B-plot (again!), and everything was more or less consistent. This season seems to be starting on a better foot, because it just feels like there's more effort being put in these episodes.

Now I won't compare this to, say, last week's episode, because it had a different feel to it, but I will say some of the cutaways weren't really that great. HOWEVER, I can tell that some of them were holdovers from previous episodes (as they all eventually turn out to be at some point in time).

Good to see Buzz Killington and Spiderman back, pretty funny stuff.

I was going to give this one a B last night, but I figure, why not, B+.

I'm really not trying to be mean or anything, but you're just realizing this?? Come on. Seth only has, like, 5 or 6 voices in his entire repertoire. Peter, Brian, Stewie, Quamire, Crusty Older Guy voice and Mincing Gay Guy voice.

Anyway, I was glad to see they finally gave Cleveland a new woman, but rather unimaginatively, Bernice is just a skinny Loretta. This showed a severe lack of imagination of the writers' part. Not only is it kind of illogical that Cleveland would take another woman who's exactly like his ex (though in his defense, Loretta ended it with him, not the other way around), but if they were just going to hook Cleveland up with another Loretta, they could've just kept the original.

Am I the only one that likes Herbert, and thinks that all pedophiles should be taken down a peg? He's used too much, I agree, but he never stops cracking me up.

Much better than the first 2 episoded this seasons. I loved the opener, but last week's episode was 90% stupid guys talking about movies. I prefer the pop culture cutaways to those stupid long rambling jokes they started.

I love how they took a stab at themselves and pulled Scrubs down with them. And the Fred and Barney and Mayor McCheese thing was classic intergrating pop culture references into the show, like they used to. Very good episode.

And come on, I could tell at the beginning Joe was going back in the chair. If not, the whole thing in the Stewie untold Story DVD wouldn't have made much sense.
