FOX Talkback - American Dad - "The 42 Year Old Virgin" (Spoilers)

I don't have local news on my fox network, except some sort of news show on sunday morning.

Instead I get TMZ, which I admit is becoming a guilty pleasure of mine because they are so darn mean and funny.

I liked Bad Randy's line about 'becoming more powerful than ever before!' hehehehe. They should have had a scene of Stan absorbing Bad Randy's Quickening XD
 
Funny thing: in the midst of this episode, I saw an ad with Peter Griffin hocking for Subway, yet, in the episode, Stan was hoping for Quiznos for lunch. Quite the quagmire*.

* - Seriously, once you've had Quiznos, you never go back.
 
When I first heard about this episode it seemed like a big continuity error. I mean I know AD only cares about that sort of thing a bit more then FG, but really "Stan has never apparently killed now?" That's the plot they really wanted to go with? I mean the only real error I can think of now is Stan "killing" Jay Leno in "Stan Of Araibia" but I am sure there are other times Stan has actually shot and killed that they didn't put here. Not to mention the fact they made an error filled show in the midst of not a very good show. Okay I admitt I haven't seen 40 year old virign so if the two guys who tag along with Stan and Roger are a parody of the ones from the movie, I wouldn't get it. I also didn't really care for the flashback bits of Stan's gun cowardnice or even building up the rapist character, or the plot twist of one of the friends dying instead. There were some good quick moments (Roger's attidue in the poker game, Hayley getting Stan to go berry picking with her when he can't kill anyone, or even Klaus trying to come up with the last line for the show) but it wasn't turthfully very funny. I even kind of got bored at the end of the ep which is never really too good a sign. Overall better then the last ep but still nothign really too great.
 
I saw that too; it's strange that it didn't air during Family Guy. But is that due to the same rule that doesn't allow Pokemon toys to be advertised during the Pokemon show?

Has anyone seen this ad anywhere else?
 
Maybe Stan will get another shot at that sex offender.

Totally! I can't go to Subway anymore! What pisses me off is that I have to take a pretty long walk to go to the nearest Quiznos >
