Over here, FOX Portugal is showing the first 3 seasons of The Simpsons to honor they're 20th Aniversary. This marks the 3rd time (I think) that FOX shows the Simpsons from the 1st episode.

Currently, in Portugal, The Simpsons are on they're 17th season.
 
Lucky you.. Over here, it seems to only air on Sunday nights. And they're all the lower-quality newer episodes.
And it's also on a channel called The CW in some areas.
 
Yep, the episodes that air in syndication typically air on either Fox or CW stations. In a lot of places in the U.S. up to three episodes are aired each weeknight, and it's usually a mix of older/newer episodes.
