My brother was coming home from work when he almost hit 2 dogs running in front of his car!
Luckily he was going slow.
He took them in and gave them a bit of food and water. They are staying in our basement for now.
I have taken pictures, made fliers, talked with some neighbors. Tomorrow we plan on talking to more neighbors, posting fliers, taking them to the vet and having them scanned for a chip. We will also pay to have them posted in the paper.
Neither of them had collars. They have to be someone's pets! They seem to be well fed and cared for. Someone had to dish out a LOT of money!
One is I thought a white Pug but my mom was looking online for a lost dog ad and said the Pug was a Leucistic Pug??? The other is (we weighed him!) 4lb Chihuahua.
Anything else we can do to reunite them with their owner?
First off Dog Section Regular the only reason we took the dogs in is the pound is CLOSED! We have already left messages at all pounds and animal control!
What else are we suppose to do when everything is closed?! We don't plan on keeping them! If we did I wouldn't do this! I have not printed fliers out as I am waiting for a pound to tell me they have room and put their info on the flyer! If I wanted to keep them I wouldn't do the sh*t I'm doing!! So stop being such BITCH!
