Found an Acura RSX with 75,000 miles for 8500, would this be a good car to buy?

I am a teen just looking for a sporty car right now, but also reliable. Would this be a good purchase?

the miles is low, I check to see whats wrong with it first and then tell the seller you will pay no more then $5600 for it. For $8500 you can get a Hyundai Tibruon full-loaded used an 03-05 model.

take it to a mechanic, and have them run a compression test. check the inside of the oil filler cap to make sure there is no whiteness in the oil, which means a coolant leak in the engine. if both these things check out fine, then this car will last you another 100k miles EASY, that is if you treat it right. 8500 for that kind of mileage is a good deal. run castrol syntec oil. don't skimp.

I have had a few RSX'S and have had no troubles with them. Just a couple things you need to keep in mind though... Make sure if you're paying anything over 7500 that it is newer than a 02 and is a type S (6 speed and more sporty). Saying this car matches the specs above, yeah, it will be a great car for the money. Just make sure you try talking him down on the money. You could prob buy it for 7900 cash! Honda, along with Acura's run forever and are great for teenagers because they take the beating good! I bought my first one when I was 18. It had a little over 70k miles on it. I sold it like 6 months ago with 179000 mils ;) Good luck on your purchase! You'll love the car!
