Hi , Yes you can if you follow these instructions and how i know is because I have 8 lines on my plan with Alltel .
1. Make sure the phone you want to change it to doesn't have any money owed on it or it has not been disconnected due to non payment because no cellular service will activate a phone with those problems on it.
2. Call Verizon and see if that phone is compatible with there service and what you will need is the Model Name and Model Number and the Hex number which is under neath the battery
And if everything is go with there company such as no money is owed on it or it hasn't been disconnected due to non payment then the service operator for Verizon will be able to get you connected right then and there while you are on the phone with them.
Most companys will not charge you for the change over to another phone and some will allow you to do it only once a year before you get charge which would be $25.00 dollars so good luck !
