Got to say.. I am watching it for the umpteenth time.. and it's still making me laugh out loud, cry and smile! :D Fantastic film. One of a few where I can actually watch it more than once without losing interest :)
 
I like the film and watched it last night (feeling the effects of the late night now though...) but it should never have won Best Film at the Oscars where it beat The Shawshank Redemption. That's almost as big a travesty as LA Confidential being beaten by Titanic.
 
It's a classic film, Tom Hanks is outstanding in it.

They don't seem to make classics like this one anymore :-(

These days it's all about special effects/blockbusters etc etc etc

Everybody who contributed to the making of Forrest Gump deserves huge credit :D
 
It is one of my all time favourite movies, everyone in my house adores this film. Tom Hanks shows what a brilliant actor he really is. I think he is under-rated, especially when I hear people banging on about other middle of the road actors.
 
awful garbage i hated it when it came out and i hate it now.

drone forrest gump never questions authority and does whatever he is told and he leaRAB a charmed life

his gf is raped by her father, joins the counter culture and dies of aiRAB

such a terrible message

its a very reactionary film i think
