I'd say Alonso vs Hamilton. Alonso was really sore about being beaten by Hamilton. It didn't help that they were team mates. So. he'd want to prove that he's better by beating Hamilton in a different car. And win the championship at the same time.

But what I'm really looking forward to is Piquet Jr vs Alonso. Will the former prove too fast for Alonso? Will we see a repeat of what happened last year?
 
Hamilton vs Alonso Alonso is very Bitter from his last year with Mclaren and he'll be looking to get his revenge Back...hopefully they will get busy beating each other and Ferrari will win the wdc and the wwc
 
I think the main battle will still be Ferrari vs McLaren. Alonso has pouted his way onto the fourth team in the pecking order. BMW and maybe Williams will surpass Renault in 2008. We're also going to see this season that Kovalainen is probably at least Hamilton's equal. What I am looking forward to his Bourdais long overdue arrival in F-1. Why Renault never took him on is a mystery to me. He was half a second a lap quicker than Scott Speed and V. Liuzzi when Toro Rosso first tested him.
