[h=4]Susan Walsh/AP[/h]Call him Professor Petraeus: the general will be teaching at CUNY in the fall.

Add this to former CIA director David Petraeus’ résumé: a professorship at the City University of New York.
The retired Army general, who quit in disgrace last year after admitting he had an extramarital affair with biographer Paula Broadwell, has been named visiting professor of public policy at Macaulay Honors College at CUNY. He starts his new post Aug. 1.

“CUNY is profoundly honored to welcome Dr. Petraeus to our academic community,” Chancellor Matthew Goldstein said in a statement Tuesday.
The city university system also announced Tuesday that CUNY Graduate Center President William Kelly will assume the role of interim chancellor while officials conduct a nationwide search to replace Goldstein, who is retiring on July 1.
