Hi. In 2008 my taxes were filed on an 8879 form, which is what I received.
But there is no way I could apply for financial aid based off of this form alone, there is hardly any information on it, and the form is not one of the options to choose from on my FAFSA application.
I've also noticed that on my "Tax Recap" form, "form 1040 pg 1 and pg 2" were submitted, yet I did not receive a copy of it. Was I supposed to receive a copy of the 1040 form along with the 8879 form? Is that possible, to have 2 different forms?
Is it possible that I could go back to whoever did my taxes and retrieve this copy???
