Forgetting Sarah Marshall

I am going to see this film tonight and wondered what the actual synopsis is?!
I am not a fan of Russell Brand which I believe is not a good start for this film!!
Can anyone tell me what it is about and if it is meant to be any good?

Russell is apparently great in the film. Most reviews said he steals the show. Give him a second chance

Im not a Russel Brand fan with his stage shows ...but i thought he was very funny in this film !perhaps he should concentrate on films more !!

Was a good film,brand is the best thing in this film..It all got a bit to whiny for me..good for a bit of a night in laugh a bit comedy
