Forensice Science- How long can dry blood off of the ground be tested?

The blood was on tile and also a cement area. It may have been washed and/or rained on...can one still test to prove that blood was there? and can DNA be matched?

I was beat up, but no one is admitting to it...we need some proof that this actually happened at the location...
