Foreign channels you'd like to see come to your country

Animax, Teletoon, YTV, Teletoon Retro, G4TechTV Canada, and Jetix UK.

Also, I agree with rust. I'd love to see what Toonami UK was like before 2006.

It's also run on a shoestring budget with limited carriage in Canada. It has to show cheap-and-nasty Canadian-made shows to fulfill a public service remit, too.

I concur! I'd take pretty much ANY one of these, as long as they have anime on their lineup (I don't really care what).

Aside from Japan I don't know anything about any cartoon channels in Europe and such.

I just looked at the schedule for 2X2 and WOW!! its amazing :D

plus, I forgot to mention Teletoon late night (dont remember the actual name) solely on The Critic...

I want to get Canada's Teletoon program. I'm pretty sure there were a lot of shows I'd like to watch. Also I wouldn't mind some Japanesse shows.

I guess Teletoon is the only one that interests me. Not that I know of amny other foreign networks.

It's no longer available and it was not from Japan.

Wouldn't mind seeing Animax come to the US if it ever happened (seems to be in a lot of counties now), hear of the English dubs of some classic anime they've aired like Future Boy Conan.

I looked at their schedule and it's not that good...
For some reason, they air Futurama at 2:30PM followed by Dawson's Creek reruns.
The weekdays are full of old shows like Xena, Baywatch and (ugh) Young Hercules. On the plus side, they've got Doraemon, Dragonball Z and Detective Conan. But that's about it... :p

^This.

I know it's not going to happen, but an anime exclusive channel would be awesome.

I know of FUNimation's channel, but I don't have it. Really wish I did so I could watch Monster when it airs, though. =(

I would like Disney XD, Toon Disney, Disney Cinemagic, Animax, Funimation Channel, Nicktoons Network, Teletoon, Teletoon Retro etc to come to Australia. LOL

If they made an American version of YTV, I would not complain. I like the way that network is laid out, and contrary to what the American media tells you, YTV is NOTHING like Nickelodeon.

The closest thing we had Stateside to YTV was Fox Family Channel in its beautiful first months when Real Ghostbusters aired at noon every day and Pee-Wee's Playhouse every afternoon at 5:30 PM inside The Basement.

Seriously, I loved what they did with that channel. But they got stupid and decided to make gender-specific channels that nobody got and scrapped everything that made Fox Family great in order to make it more friendly to young girls over boys. Of course, Fox sold it and all of Fox Kids Worldwide to Disney so they could buy DirecTV, which, I may add, Fox no longer owns.

But yeah. I want an American YTV.
