ford XR6 tick ford head?

Hi ppl i recently acquired an ef/el tickford 4.0 liter head and was curious weather to actaully get the head port and polished or weather its best to leave it as it is as im not sure what the best mods to this head would be, ive been told the last thing i should do is raise the compression ratio, as apparently these like the Au heads have a very high compression ratio, any info would be appreciated,
 
you have been told right do not raise the compression on this head it has enough as it is about all you can really do to is valve grind with new stem seals it cant be ported and polished to any great extent so no value in what you can do and dont try to bolt a turbo onto it you will destroy your engine in a short time
