Ford Windstar 3.0 vs 3.8 L engine?

Sorry for the dumb question, but it's really important I find an answer to whether my 1998 Ford Windstar GL minivan has a 3.0 or 3.8 L engine. I can't find the info anywhere -- on the pink slip, registration, the car itself, etc. The owner's manual talks about both. Where do you look up that info? Thanks!
 
if the # is not printed on top of the eng somewhere .. there is usually stickers on the hood or core support area that will show you or you can call the dealer give them the vin # and ask them
