Doesn't happen all the time but my car just stalls out on me when I am driving without any warning, then I wait maybe 15- 20 minutes and it starts right up and goes...this is dangerous because once it stalls I'm stuck and can't move...Just wondering if anyone else ever experienced this problem..Thanks for any answers!

Hi,
If it happens lots on one trip it is probably the coil. If only once the heat sending unit may be out of whack. Thats all I got! lol

don't no but we had an 1988 taurus did the same thing when turning hard left or right or when turning the ac on it stalled then started up

It could be a problem with your fuel delivery system. Could be that your fuel injectors need cleaning or replacing, or it could have something to do with the electronic "brain" of the car not communicating correctly with the fuel system.

Cute kitty!

I once had a Ford that did that, but it was usually good to go after about 5 minutes. It was totally unpredictable when it would do it again. It was something in the computerized controls; you probably can't analyze it without hooking it up to a computer at a mechanic shop. We traded the car off instead of fixing it.
