I was driving about 20 mph and I heard a loud grinding noise in my front end. I pulled over right away and check to see if I had a flat, but I didn't so I started driving again slowly and it was still making the noise, but about 30 yards later it stopped. I noticed my ABS light was on so I pulled out the manual to see what to do. It just said that there is a problem with the anti lock breaks, so the car disabled them. I then began to drive again and about 30 seconds later there was some metal clanging under my front end when I went over a some bumps in the road, almost as if something was hanging and it fell off. That was the last of the noises I heard, but the light is still on.
The other day I had on of my ball bearings replaced, so maybe it could have been related to that. I guess my question is, couldcould have messed something up with my breaks when replacing a ball bearings? I was just wondering because if it was there fault I don't really want to pay them again for something they broke.
