...not found the problem.? I jumped 12 v. to Engine/cooling fan, drivers side... ran no problem. As for the engine temp. sensor, changed that. I checked all of the bigger cube relays by inducing a 12v. current and listened for "click" sound and assured contact with ohm meter. I didn't check the smaller relays as not sure how they are circuited to make them function?? Remember this is the FLEX fuel so it has the basic fuse box in front of engine but also an extra fuse box by battery that isn't covered by Chiltons so no real diagram to reference, ... so what I did was check for continuity from the fan connection back to each relay contact.. I did this by removing each relay and touched each contact with volt meter and looked for continuity... I finaly had a hit on the relay that feeds the "Air Pump" that has something to do with emissions.. so then I put 12 v. into that line and got the "Air Pump" to start but not the Fan??????? (yes I connected the harness back to fan) so I replaced the relay that feeds this circuit but the relay tested good, ... but don't understand what the engine cooling fan and the "Air Pump" that feeds the emissions system or what ever is doing on the same circuit and why? I figure I should be able to find the relay that feeds the fan.. but it seems to be tied to the "Air Pump" which feeds the emissions/flex fuel or what ever, ... why in heavens name can't I get the cooling fan to start? Any ideas? and what starts this "air pump" up as possibly that might be part of the problem...

an earlier suggestion was to check the pressure in the air conditioning system... but that shouldn't knock out the primary radiator cooling fan.. I could be wrong but engineers wouldn't be that stupid? so any way...
I am looking for any imput that I may have overlooked...

yes I checked all fuses, I checked all the bigger block relays as a just in case thing... I didn't check the smaller relays.. as I induced 12v. but they don't seem to function like that larger relays so figure leave them alone... I was hoping to find the RADIATOR COOLING FAN RELAY... but I can't seem to find the one that feeds them other than the one tied to the "air pump"..

Hope this make sense.. good luck...
