ford sony cd132 cd6 "cd error"?

hi
can anyone help me my sony head unit wont play or eject my disks i keep getting "cd error"

thanks but it wont let me eject the cds in there at the mo
 
1. lens maybe defective or weak
2. ribbon wire brittle or broken
3. m peg board defective
4. cd's you used many scratches, try to use new one. if not clean the lens with mineral water using cotton buds damp in one side and the other dry. apply it to the lens to clean.

If disconnecting it from the power supply, leaving it off for a few minutes then reconnecting and then trying it does not work I reckon it is time for a new head unit.
