Alright so ive got a 2003 Ford Ranger Edge regular cab 3.0L with a 5-speed manual in it.

Performance Mod's?
Stock.

Ive got a buddie who's got a 2005 Ford Ranger Edge extended cab with a 5-speed Automatic and a 3.0LV6.

Performance Mods.
K&N Air filter.

Both trucks have 4:10 rear ends and under 100,000 miles. For my 2003 86,000 miles. His 2005 has 52,000 miles. Both are well maintained and taken good care of.

My friend's been talking alot of crap lately thinking his truck can beat mine because he has a K&N on it. But I feel that because mine is a regular cab with a 5-speed stick vs Ext cab with an Automatic, I don't think his little K&N is gonna save him...What do you guys think?

P.S
I am very sufficient at driving a standerd.
Oh you really hurt my feeling fireturd..Were both moron's...OUCH!...Haha...anywase...apparently you dont have a truck to race. Next time I want your oppoion I'll give ya it to ya. Jackass.

the difference between these trucks is the drivers.
the K&N truck will get possible a sneeze more airflow, but it won't make that much difference.
the extended cab has more weight, bigger fuel tank.
the regular cab has less weight but a stock OE air filter.
I see this as being down to the drivers.
