ford question 200 taurus?

two weeks ago water pump went out replaced it drove 8oo miles now it leaks what could cause this to happen how do i fix it again could there be another problem im not seeing look like crack near the in side or were the manf. it crease too please help

You'll have to look carefully to see where exactly the leak is coming from, and this may require removing the splash guard and wheel. If coolant is leaking out of the weep hole, then the pump is certainly bad. If it's leaking elsewhere, then I would guess that it may be leaking because the incorrect gasket sealer was used, or it wasn't applied correctly.

hmm i am not sure but you could have damaged more running it ho with a bad waterpump and the headgasket took a few days to give way my friend had the same problem on his taurus i tried to ask my mechanic and he asked if my friend was stupid for buying a taurus in the first place and would not even work on it said it was not worth $50 soooooo you have been attacked by the blue oval syndrome
