I have a 2006 Ford Fusion, want to know if anyone has any experience with disengaging or deactivating the governor that controls the top acceleration of the vehicle to shut down at 105mph I want to remove this feature. w/out taking it to the dealership. Any input other than remarks relating to the speed limits and legal limitations would be appreciated. :)

It's not a part that can be removed, it's the ECM(computer) needs to be reprogrammed

This feature is really there so you don't break the engine and tranny parts. This car is not meant to go that fast
