The car is developing a new problem.
Put key in turn to position 2 (think correct, one before starter kicks in) everything lights up all OK turn the key to start.. nothing. Turn it back to 1 then to start nothing. turn back to 1 then start, starts fine no problems one or two turns on the starter and it running.
When i say nothing there is no sound.. no click no relay.. no nothing
This is intermittent but becoming more often. Sometimes it take one try sometimes two sometimes starts first time
Battery ok tested, alternator fine so fully charged.
so, suck or sticky starter relay? starter solenoid? is the relay on the starter motor itself?
Any guidance appreciated.
