I just got a 2002 Ford Focus(bought from an owner, not dealer). The specs I looked up say the radio has Anti Theft Protection, in which if the radio is disconnected it will need a password to be used again. Im going to be replacing it with an aftermarket head unit and before I go about doing that I want to know what thats about.
How do I obtain the password?
Does it affect my aftermarket radio, or is in the factory radio, not in the wiring?
