Car overheating. Have changed temperature gauge sensor, thermostat and radiator (in that order) and am still suffering from overheating. Appears to be OK 'town driving' and when stationary but go above 50mph and it starts to overheat (according to temp gauge). These are the same symptoms before and after above repair. Radiator gets hot when car stationary but does not overheat on gauge.
Also, NOT loosing water so I am assuming not a failed head gasket.

4 months ago had water pump & thermostat housing & thermostat changed (different problem) and new anti-freeze by main dealer so assuming that this is not pump failure.

Any guidance would be welcome.

Many thanks.

It seems a common problem, cars overheating, the problem could well be the heater matrix, its usually located under the dash, very hard to get to and an all day job to repair at a garage, hence also expensive.Or a broken/split pipe coming from it, if that's the case it can be temporarily fixed with a glass solution from your local motor factors, it goes into the coolant reservoir, can be done yourself by following the instructions, keep an eye on the coolant level while doing it.
Similar problem myself.
