ford focus 2000 reg rds6000 radio code?

we have found a website that will give us a radio code for free but i cant get the serial number of the radio because we dont have radio keys. is there a set serial number? also if i try and get it wrong will it lock down the radio?

You can make your own radio removal keys from a coat hanger or welding rod.
Come on get the bugger out and I will give you the radio code.
Don't guess as it will lock you out.
 
Just be patient. do yourself a favour and go on ebay and invest in a pair of radio keys. order them today and in a week you should have the keys to do the job. in the mean time just sing to your self in the car. . ok. bye bye
