Ford Fiesta alarm problem?

I think the electronic box (brain) will need resetting - you could phone a ford dealer or car electrician to fond out how.
 
I have a 1994 ford Fiesta mk3 with a 1.4 cvh engine, I have had the misfortune to have to buy a new battery, but now when i leave it the alarm keeps going off, has anybody experienced this ?? if so what was the remedy to cure it please & no silly answers like disconnect the hooter etc

Check to see that whilst doing the battery change that you haven't accidentally done something to the bonnet switch that tells the alarm it is open. Or.
Try disconnecting the battery and reconnecting again after at least 30 mins.
Make sure doors are unlocked when battery is reconnected
