Ford Fairlane, done up "Eleanor" style. Yay, or Nay?

Heres a question that's sure to get some varying opinions from all of you... I've been tossing around the idea of turning a 4-door (or 2-door) 66/67 Ford Fairlane into a sort of "Eleanor" recreation. As in, replicating the paint scheme, side pipes, wheels and using a similar front bumper, grille, and hood to the Eleanor Mustang from the newer version of Gone in 60 Seconds. I always loved that car, but owning one is way out of the question for financial reasons. My reason for choosing a Fairlane to use for this act of possible lunacy is that my family was given one that was in very rough shape when I was about 14. I fell in love with that car instantly, even though it never ran or even rolled while in our possession. It is long since gone, but I had always dreamed of fixing that car up to the description you read above. So my real question is, what is your opinion of such a car? Do you like the idea, or does it make you want to vomit? I thought it would be a very interesting, unique and just plain cool car when completely finished. If you don't like the idea, do you have any others as to how I could go about making a unique Fairlane? Thanks in advance for your input!
