We're trying to remove the drive shaft on a Ford F150 (1993 -1996) and it won't recess into the transmission at all. Almost like it's welded into position. Original complaint was possible throw out bearing but can't get the drive shaft out. Any ideas what might be an additional problem?
In reply to MichaelS. Thank You. Yes we did remove the bolts out of the rear U-Joint. Tried prying and even a little tap with a hammer. No luck. Possible issue in the gear box?
It is a 2 joint shaft. thanks..
