So here's the story behind the problem. My mom's car broke down about a half hour away from the house so i got in my 1991 ford f150 to drive down to tow her car home we ended up making it all the way back but in the parking lot at the repair shop i noticed that my truck was leaking and i knew that it was some kind of oil leak when i took a quick look under the truck so after dropping off the car we drove the truck back home. Here's some extra info..

After getting the truck back home i took a look under the truck to see what kind of leak it was and where it was coming from. After looking i saw that it was leaking from the front of the transmission and that it was ATF that was leaking.

Does anyone know what seal i broke (optimisticly its a seal)
also how hard would it be to repair if it was a seal.
ATF - Automatic Transmission Fluid

atf? guessing anti freeze and infront of trans would be a rear main seal which is back of engine at the crankshaft so if anti freeze is coming from there than its leaking in your oil somewere possibilities cracked head, maybe intake is cracked or intake gasket any of those are possible and also if its leaking from a steel line near front of trans that would be a bad radiator because trans fluid cools in radiator aswell as antifreeze but not suppose to mix i hope i helped [email protected] let me know if there is anything else i can help you with

could be your trans front seal. Yes trans needs to come off the truck to replace the 10 dollar item but, the labor for r&r
