geeze what the heck does that guy think! the cats play a huge part of the way your truck runs. your computer requires it for tune and timing of the motor. the only way you can run without cats is to have your computer custom programmed without the smog system. trust me I was building custom 54 to 67 corvettes fitted with modern corvette engines and we had to purchase special gm computers (blanks) so our dyno shop could program as we needed. the factory puts in all kinds of perimeters (guild lines) for the engine to follow in the computer in them is the cats and the oxygen sensors which require a ratio of back presure before and after the cats. yours is much the same except ford may not offer a blank. the only thing you will gain is loud. milage will dump, power will dump and it may not even run
