ford expedition switching DRL's from headlights to fogs?

i recently put a HID kit with a relay on my 2007 expedition and i don't really like the idea of the HIDS being on all the time. i heard somewhere that the dealer can hook up a computer and change the DRL to be on the fogs or the parking lamps. i need to have them here in Canada so if its possible to change them around, do you think the dealer would try to rape me? how much would it cost?
 
It might take a call to a few dealerships to find one willing to do so BUT drl's can be disabled. Personally, I find them to be a waste. It's a quick-fix, maybe check your owners manual and fusebox to do it yourself, but it won't take the dealership 5 minutes.
