I have a 99 ford expedition, i am going to work on supension this weekend, i am planning on changing bad ball joints and while i was at it, i was thinking of cutting springs to lower it. What do you think? do you think its safe? It has 305/45/22 tires, I dont really mind on tires rubbing, i can cut and make room for them if they do rub. i just worry about it being safe since we only use it for traveling. I have had 4 mustangs (3 fox's 1 sn95) and I cut springs to lower them and never had a problem with them, Im just not sure on SUV's.... what do you suggest? plese comment. thanks
