Okay so I'm getting a ford expedition. & I know their huge.. but are they safe to drive. & i heard it safer to keep the truck up high rather then to lower it, because I wanted to lower it, is this true?? Has anyone had a ford expedition. & how are they on gas. I am just scared to drive such a big truck cause it seems so hard to drive.. is it hard to drive??

They're terrible to drive. It's like trying to drive a rowboat. They're terrible on gas because they have a big V8 engine and a 4-speed transmission and they weigh twice as much as a normal car. If you're on the highway and someone cuts you off you're going to hit them because changing lanes in Expeditions takes a long time.

Keep in mind what it was like when gas was four dollars a gallon. It's going to be that expensive again in a year or three.

If you're getting one to look cool go ahead and lower it. The driving experience can't get much worse. The only way I'd get one is if I lived on a dirt road and had three giant teenage boys.
