ford escort won't start s reg?

hi my escort won't start its turning over really slow i've changed the battery and still the same i've trying towing to bump start it didn't work what else could it be
 
Check the alternator. If it isn't sending a charge to the battery, the battery will die just like that.
Also check the spark plugs are all firing.
And fan belts are tight.
If all else fails, by a Holden........jusy kidding!
 
I know what the problem is, but only if its an R or T reg. not a clue if its an S unfortunately.
