While accelerating onto a highway, I heard a noticeable blow and pulled over. The exhaust was very loud and the suspected leak sounded like it was in the front of the vehicle. Shortly thereafter, the emissions warning light came on.
What could be the problem and how much should I be expected to pay? Is it safe to drive 50-60 miles on the highway despite the warning light?
