Ford Escape Chip Key replacement?

I just bought a 2001 Ford Escape XLT, it only came with one remote and 1 key, I know they are chip key's so I'm looking for advice for going about this. can I get any ford chip key blank from ebay and program any ford remote? I like the new fusion keys with the remote buttons on the key, I was also wondering if its possible to use one of those keys. Any advice on how to get extra sets programmed and cut would be appreciated!! thanks!

I replaced one and had to go to a dealership and produce my title. Trying to cut down on theft.

I bought a key and remote on EBAY, had the key cut by a locksmith and programmed it myself. Some vehicles require you to take it back to the dealership to get it programmed. I saved about $100.
