I would be very happy (although admittedly surprised) if there is anyone here on Yahoo Answers knowledgeable about this rare classic, but I have a few questions that I can't seem to find answers for.
I would like to know (of the Ford Econoline Pickup style), which is more rare: The version with quarter windows, or the heavy duty version? I've heard that the Heavy Duty version is more rare due to it being the only version originally sold as an automatic, but then others tell me that the quarter window version is much harder to find.
The reason I'm asking is because I have an econoline pickup that I'm working on with family. It's the version with quarter windows, and it needs quite a bit of work. We may be getting a heavy duty version that's for sale cheap to chop for parts. My dilemma is that I prefer the look of the quarter windows, but the Heavy Duty is in much better condition plus it's an automatic. I know that they're bot pretty rare classics, but I'd hate to chop the more rare of the two.
Which is more rare?
Thank you for any Econoline Pickup info you can give me! If you want to email me about these awesome classics my email is: [email protected]
