the control arm bushings. Thoughts? Our '99 Ford Contour pulls hard to the right when braking. We've had it looked at and we were told that it was because of bad control arm bushings. Could that cause such a hard pull? We know the brakes are okay, we had those looked at and replaced. Thanks!
Any idea on the cost to get this fixed?
I did have new rotors and brake pads put on and the pulling continued. I have a hard time believing the mechanic that said that the control arm bushings would cause a pull when braking (why not while driving then?). Could it be that the brake hoses are bad and only the right side is "catching"? Something with the fluid?
