What is it with the people who come on here and ask how to get their cat to go outside when the animal clearly wants nothing to do with it?
Seems to me that some cats are smart and just aren't terribly keen on the idea of becoming road pizza, being mauled by other animals, catching diseases, or dying of poisoning. So why the heck do their owners try to convince them otherwise?
It really baffles me. Anyone got any idea?
A Z: I am not at all opposed to allowing cats outdoors safely by walking them on a harness or buying/purchasing a safe outdoor enclosure. It's cat parents who try to boot their frightened cats outside to roam freely that I don't get.
